Luis Enrique LopezMay 28, 1947 - January 1, 2025Beloved father, husband, grandfather, great grandfather, son & brother. Luis was born in Mexico City to his parents Jaime Lopez & Rosa Maria Santander. He was the second oldest of seven children.Luis came to Chicago in the late 1960's a few years later he would meet his late wife Marisela Ramírez. They wed in 1970 and started their family with the first born in 1972. Luis and Marisela went on to have 3 children; Luis who passed in 2020, Zita & Rosa Nelly. 3 Grandchildren; Caylah, Cecilia & Logan. And 1 Great grandchild; Nevaeh.Luis was a family man and a very hard dedicated worker. He retired from Chicago Public Schools after 25 years. He had a sense of humor that could make anyone laugh. He told dirty jokes and really bad dad jokes. Dad may you be in the company of all your loved ones who went before you. Rest in peace. We love you.
